Client-Side Only Processing: LeakTrap operates entirely within your browser. Your files and metadata are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server or stored in any database operated by LeakTrap.

We Do Not Collect:

• The metadata you embed
• Usage patterns or personal information
• Browser fingerprints or tracking data

Local Storage

As a Progressive Web Application (PWA), LeakTrap may store the following information locally on your device:

• Service worker cache: Used to enable offline functionality
• Application settings: If you adjust any preferences

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's cache and local storage.

Analytics and Third-Party Services

LeakTrap uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data that helps us improve the application. This information includes:

• Technical information like browser type and device type
• Approximate location (country/region level only)

Google Analytics data is anonymized and does not include any information about your files or the metadata you embed or extract. We've configured Google Analytics to respect Do Not Track settings and to minimize the data collected.
